Website
for Money Advice Service
The Service inherited a number of disparate web resources from its previous incarnations, varying enormously in style and content. As part of Red Stone’s branding for the new Service, we were commissioned to work with the in-house web team to develop a cohesive new website.
Approach
Our first instinct was to introduce photography of 'real' people to the site. This helped to give the Service a more approachable feel. We devised a series of hub pages for each of the main sections, with a picture carousel to highlight key stories. Red Stone developed a series of images for the launch of the organisation, which has formed the basis of an ongoing image-library. The library is devised to help the public identify with the site, showing the part that money plays in our daily lives.
Outcome
As the service grows, the website continues to expand. We have recently added a Money Chat hub, to create a space for informal discussion of people's attitudes to money.
